Kimberly Joy Funk, 102 E. Kansas, Lehigh; hearing continued from Aug. 6 to Sept. 12; jury trial continued from Aug. 16 to Nov. 15 and 16 on three counts of mistreatment of a dependent adult and seven counts of misdemeanor theft.

Marjorie A. Huffman, 2578 Goldenrod, Hillsboro; complaint amended Aug. 14 to two counts permitting a dangerous animal to be at large.

Chauney Louise Laymon, 612 N. Denver, El Dorado; sentenced Aug. 15 to two consecutive 30-day controlling jail terms on conviction of two counts of disorderly conduct and a six-month controlling jail term on conviction of criminal damage to property, given 12 months probation and ordered to pay $265 fees and costs, submit to random drug and alcohol testing, and complete mental health counseling.

Calvin Ray Maurer, 1124 Weldon St., Marion; plea hearing continued from Aug. 15 to Aug.20 on charges of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, and criminal deprivation of property; failed to appear at plea hearing Aug. 20, bench warrant issued.

Donald Francis Harner, 211 S. Algona, Arlington; information filed Sept. 6; charged with felony theft.

Walt A. Sanders, 1011 Park St., Salina; information filed Sept. 6; charged with two counts criminal threat.

Joseph E. Olson, 965 Barlow St., Wichita; bench warrant withdrawn Aug. 24 on charge of no registration; court clerk ordered to take administrative action.

Lloyd Meier, 2406 190th, Marion; arraignment continued from Aug. 15 to Sept. 19 on charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Kirby A. Jahnke, 603 N. B St., Ramona; arraignment continued from Aug. 15 to Oct. 17 on charges of driving under the influence and transporting an open container of alcohol; motion-to-suppress hearing scheduled for Sept. 19.

Ruben Vasquez, 811 Sylvan St., Emporia; pleaded no-contest Aug. 15 to driving under the influence; driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked dismissed; sentencing scheduled for Sept. 24.

Evan Dwight Slater, 233 W. Sixth, Florence; hearing Aug. 15 on charges of driving under the influence and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer; arraignment scheduled for Sept. 19.

Mark Alan Wheeler, 30 Jerome St., Marion; pleaded guilty Aug. 15 to driving under the influence; speeding and failure to maintain a single lane of travel dismissed; sentencing scheduled for Oct. 17; Wheeler must complete drug and alcohol evaluation.

Ridgeway J. McDonald, 10909 Cora Circle, Wichita; charge of failure to maintain a single lane of travel dismissed Aug. 15 upon payment of court costs and surcharge.

Thomas L. Likins Jr., 2101 Exchage, Wichita; first appearance Sept. 4 on charges of driving under the influence, failure to submit to a preliminary breath test, and failure to maintain a single lane of travel; arraignment scheduled for Sept. 24.

Steven Brian Hundley, no address given; first appearance Sept. 4 on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, speeding (65 mph in a 45-mph zone), stop sign violation, and improper movements and required signal; preliminary hearing scheduled for Oct. 3.
