Jon and Esther Brooks of Peabody will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends June 7 at their granddaughter’s wedding reception.

They married on June 7, 1964, at Peabody Christian Church. They have three daughters, Lana (Mike) Benson, Lori (David) Pickens, and Lisa (Preston) Hodges. They have nine grandchildren, and their first great-grandchild is on the way.
