NEW JAILINGS

Paul F. Baatrup, 23, Wichita, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 12 times for a total of 112 days between April 15, 2019, and May 6, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of violating offender registration three times.

Kelsie S. Glenn, 42, Peabody, jailed May 8 for failing to appear in court. Released Monday after posting a $2,000 bond. Previously jailed April 18, 2022, on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; April 15, 2022, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and possessing anhydrous ammonia to manufacture illicit drugs; Dec. 22 and 23, 2021, on suspicion of endangering a child and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia; Dec. 28, 2018, for allegedly violating her probation; and April 20 to May 7, 2018, on court orders.

Andy C. Helton, 50, Cottonwood Falls, jailed Monday on court orders. Previously jailed March 5 on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Nicholas S. Hoffner, 32, Durham, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, another controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of $40,000 in bonds. Previously jailed Jan. 22 and 23 on suspicion of violating an order of protection from abuse.

Kirby A. Jahnke, 52, Florence, arrested Friday by a deputy sheriff for twice failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of a $25,000 bond. Previously jailed Sept. 6 to 13 for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of aggravated battery and criminal restraint; May 13 to 16, 2023, on suspicion of forgery; Nov. 11 to Dec. 14, 2019, on court orders; Sept. 24 and 25, 2019, for allegedly violating his probation; and Dec. 17 and 18, 2018, on suspicion of domestic battery.

Robert J. Riffel, 66, Wichita, arrested Friday by a state trooper on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Released 21 hours later after posting a $5,000 bond.

William R. Shearer, 42, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 12 days between Dec. 22, 2021, and May 5, 2024. Previously jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of violating his probation, twice violating an order of protection, possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container of alcohol, endangering a child, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Laramie J. Siebert, 45, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Dec. 13, 2021, to Dec. 12, 2022, on court orders; April 21, 2021, for allegedly violating his probation; Feb. 5 and 6, 2021, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving without a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, and transporting an open container of alcohol; and July 7, 2020, again on suspicion of driving without an interlock.
