NEW JAILINGS

Angela D. Doty, 46, Peabody, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Dec. 4 and 5 on court orders pending a pre-sentence investigation and Dec. 21 to 23, 2022, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, having no marijuana tax stamp, failing to exhibit her driver’s license on demand, and violating her probation.

April N. Fore, 36, Peabody, arrested Friday by Peabody police and held for the Department of Corrections. Previously jailed 15 times for a total of 89 days between April 25, 2018, and Feb. 19, 2024. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court 20 times, for allegedly violating her probation three times, on court orders twice, on a hold for Kansas Department of Corrections once, on an out-of-county warrant once, and on suspicion of driving without a license twice and of battery and giving a worthless check one time each.

Johannah R. Latham, 19, Lehigh, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating her probation. Released Monday after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 25 to 28, 2023, on suspicion of domestic battery and criminal damage to property; June 24 to 29, again on suspicion of domestic battery; and July 4 to 11, for a third time on suspicion of domestic battery.

Patricia L. Miller, 43, Topeka, jailed March 27 for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 102 days between Dec. 8, 2020, and Nov. 25, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders once, for failing to appear in court four other times, for allegedly violating her probation twice, on two unspecified warrants, on a Georgia warrant for failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia twice, of driving with an open container of alcohol, and of driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Sara Jane N. Miller, 36, Hillsboro, arrested Monday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing stimulants, depressants, marijuana, and another controlled substance. Bond not set.

Marshall R. Swanson, 60, Peabody, jailed Thursday on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child. Held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Previously jailed Nov. 17 to Dec. 3, 2017, on orders from Peabody Municipal Court and Oct. 6, 2018, on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Wayne L. Thompson, 66, Marion, arrested March 27 by Marion police on suspicion of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. Released two hours later after posting $2,000 in bonds. Previously jailed five times for a total of 15 days between Aug. 6 and Dec. 16, 2022. Previous jailings were on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and transporting an open container of alcohol four times and for allegedly violating his probation three times.
