NEW JAILINGS

Robert E. Billsten, 56, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police after being found in contempt of court. Released 19 hours later after posting a $105,000 bond. Previously jailed four times for a total of 17 days between May 27 and Jan. 24. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court twice, for allegedly violating his probation twice, after a Sedgwick County probation bond was forfeited, and on suspicion of driving without liability insurance and possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Joshua M. Caldwell, 40, Peabody, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation. Held without bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of 27 days between May 21, 2018, and March 1, 2024. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court three times and for allegedly violating his probation twice.

Chance D. Johnson, 21, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of a $7,500 bond. Previously jailed May 29 to 31 on a Butler County warrant and on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Stuart G. Johnson, 52, Lindsborg, jailed March 19 for McPherson County. Held without bond.

Mitchell W. McMillen, 46, Peabody, arrested Wednesday by Peabody police on suspicion of violating an order of protection. Held in lieu of a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 5, 2020, to Feb. 26, 2021, on suspicion of making a criminal threat, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of a law enforcement officer, interference with law enforcement, battery, criminal damage to property, and being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
