NEW JAILINGS
Sebastian J.L. Carranza, 21, Florence, jailed Friday for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of $500,000 bond. Previously jailed May 12 and 13, 2021, on suspicion of possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
Justin M. Carpenter, 25, Indianapolis, jailed Friday for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $100,000 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 24 to 26, 2022, on suspicion of distributing stimulants and hallucinogens and of possessing stimulants, hallucinogens, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Paul D. Dabney, 56, Columbia, South Carolina, jailed Friday for unspecified reasons. Released 10 hours later without bond.
Taylor R. Gutierez, 31, Wichita, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing cocaine, methamphetamines, depressants, and marijuana and of driving under the influence of drugs or drugs and alcohol. Released 21 hours later after posting a $20,000 bond.
John D. Harding, 26, Florence, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on orders from Kansas Department of Corrections. Previously jailed Nov. 30 to Dec. 12 for the Department of Corrections; Aug. 23 to Oct. 6, 2021, on suspicion of criminal damage to property; and July 15, 2020, to Jan. 21, 2021, on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and criminal sodomy of a child age 14 to 16.
Brian W. Hiebert, 27, Florence, jailed Friday on suspicion of theft and criminal use of a financial card. Held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Previouly jailed 10 times for a total of 147 days between Aug. 19, 2018, and Feb. 26, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court twice, for allegedly violating his probation three times, for failing to appear in court four times, and on suspicion of four counts of theft and single counts of burglary, criminal trespassing, interfering with a law enforcement officer, forgery, driving without a license, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, contributing to a child’s misconduct, supplying alcohol to a minor, and possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
James R.A. McColl, 51, Lehigh, arrested March 5 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery. Held in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
Mark L. Randall, 53, Bella Vista, Arkansas, jailed Friday for unspecified reasons. Released 10 hours later without bond.
Ian A. Weisbeck, 46, Hillsboro, arrested March 5 by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court and for twice allegedly violating his probation. Released 26 hours later after posting $8,000 in bonds. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 228 days between Nov. 26, 2018, and March 1, 2023. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court five times, for allegedly violating his probation five times, and on suspicion of domestic battery three times and criminal damage to property one time.
