NEW JAILINGS

Jody A. Craig, 48, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Aug. 17 to 19 for allegedly violating his probation; May 4, 2021, for failing to appear in court; and March 14 and 15, 2021, on suspicion of battery.

Nancy D. Garcia, 49, Florence, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, transporting an open container of alcohol, and interfering with a law enforcement officer. Released less than six hours later after posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed 10 times for a total of 231 days between Jan. 26, 2018, and Dec. 3, 2019. Previous jailings were while she was held for the Kansas Department of Corrections, on court orders another time, for allegedly violating her probation seven times, for failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of aggravated burglary, burglary, criminal restraint, failure to pay child support, domestic battery (three times), assault, violation of an order of protection, and driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked (twice).

Eduardo R. Ortiz, 41, Herington, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders.

William R. Stringfellow, 46, Peabody, arrested Saturday by Peabody police on suspicion of driving without a valid license and failing to signal a stop or turn. Released 17 hours later after posting a $2,000 bond and making a $500 personal recognizance promise.

Corbin R. Troyer, 25, Hutchinson, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving under the influence. Released seven hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.
