NEW JAILINGS

Robert E. Billsten, 54, Hillsboro, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and of failing to have vehicle liability insurance. Released 15 hours later after posting a $5,000 bond.

Kevin W. Geren, 61, Marion, jailed Thursday for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 15 days between Dec. 18, 2019, and May 3, 2023. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court five times, for allegedly violating probation, and on suspicion of making a criminal threat, distributing stimulants, failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement during commission of a felony, and possessing marijuana once, a hallucinogen once, stimulants three times, and drug paraphernalia three times.

Charles R. Hansaw, 47, Peabody, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of making a criminal threat. Bond not set.

Philip D. Heathcock, 54, Florence, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Previously jailed six times for a total of 21 days between May 9, 2019, and Jan. 27, 2023. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating probation twice, for failing to appear in court three times, and on suspicion of driving while a habitual offender and of possessing and distributing stimulants.

Chance D. Johnson, 20, Lyons, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on a Butler County warrant and on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of $2,500 bond plus additional bail not set.

Charles R. Luchi, 69, Marion, arrested Friday by Marion police for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Previously jailed May 5 to 9, 2022, on suspicion of distributing stimulants, possessing drug paraphernalia, interfering with law enforcement, having no marijuana tax stamp, and possessing marijuana. Also jailed April 23 and 24 for failing to appear in court.

Derrick E. Ratzloff, 27, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed July 5, 2020, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and transporting an open container of alcohol; July 31 on suspicion of aggravated assault; and April 29 and 30 on suspicion of again driving under the influence and transporting an open container.

Austin E. Stahlheber, 20, Peabody, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Jan. 23 and 24 on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
