NEW JAILINGS

Mathew L. Bice, 38, Newton, arrested Monday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of attempted possession of a stimulant with a prior conviction and of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Held without bond. Previously jailed March 14 and 15 on court orders; May 21 to 29, 2021, on suspicion of distributing stimulants and possessing stolen property, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; Jan. 5 and 6, 2021, on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and paraphernalia to manufacture or cultivate drugs and of again driving while his license was canceled, suspended or revoke; and June 28 to Aug. 5, 2020, on suspicion of possessing stolen property and drug paraphernalia, criminally carrying a concealed firearm, and interference with a law enforcement officer.

Billy R. Everly, 63, Peabody, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released a day later after posting a $1,500 surety bond.

Jordan L. Fryhover, 24, Hillsboro, arrested Nov. 8 by Hillsboro police on suspicion of burglary, criminal damage to property, theft, and possession of stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of $20,000 in surety bonds. Previously jailed six times for a total of 146 days between Feb. 6, 2020, and Oct. 20, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for three times allegedly violating probation, for three times failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of theft and possession of stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Ashley M. Hagen, 33, Goessel, jailed Friday for failing to appear in court. Released less than an hour later after posting $250 bail.

Mystery S. Prieto, 40, Peabody, jailed Saturday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Aug. 18 for allegedly violating probation, May 16 to 18 for failing to appear in court and on a Harvey County warrant, and Dec. 13 and 14, 2020, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Melissa A. Tajchman, 30, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Prevously jailed March 31 to April 4 for allegedly violating probation four times; Aug. 16 and 17, 2021, for failing to appear in court four times; Nov. 19, 2020, for failing to appear in court twice; and Nov. 4, 2020, also for failing to appear in court.
