NEW ARRESTS

Braeden A. Hayes, 23, Newton, jailed Saturday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 18 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, transporting an open container of alcohol, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Bryttnii M. Johnson, 31, Marion, jailed Monday by a bounty hunter for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed Feb. 19 on suspicion of domestic battery and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Donald J. McCullough, 38, Burns, arrested Saturday by Burns police for twice failing to appear in court. Released 2½ hours later after posting $2,500 in surety bonds. Previously jailed June 29 to July 2, 2018, on court orders.

Zachary T. Nickel, 21, Marion, held Friday without bond on court orders. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 240 days between Nov. 11, 2019, and Sept. 16, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for correctional holds, for allegedly violating probation, and on suspicion of battery of a school employee and felony theft.

Kelby J. Schmidt, 29, Hillsboro, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Sept. 27, Aug. 22 to 29, and Feb. 10 and 11. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of criminal damage to property, attempted harassment by transmitting obscene material via a telecommunications device, reckless driving, interference with a law enforcement officer, and being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Cade M. Snell, 23. Manhattan, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released an hour later after posting $393 cash bail.
