NEW ARRESTS

Zachary G. Anderson, 25, Hillsboro, arrested Oct. 4 by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating probation. Released a day later after posting a $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed Oct. 29 to 31, 2021, on court orders and Jan. 1, 2021, on suspicion of reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.Marc

David M. Gore, 40, Durham, arrested Oct. 5 by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released Friday after posting a $2,500 surety bond.

Dustin J. Luchi, 43, Marion, arrested Friday by Marion police on suspicion of violating an order of protection from abuse. Held in lieu of $25,000 surety bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 20 days between April 1, 2021, and Oct, 4, 2022. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating probation twice, for revocation of probation, and on suspicion of four times interfering with a law enforcement officer, three times possessing drug paraphernalia, twice distributing a controlled substance, twice possessing illicit stimulants, once possessing marijuana and no drug tax stamp, a previous charge of violating an order of protection, domestic battery, making a criminal threat, driving without a valid license, and three times driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Jesse L. Marshall, 42, Wichita, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, making a criminal threat, criminal damage to property, battery of a law enforcement officer, and interference with a law enforcement officer. Held in lieu of $50,000 surety bond.

Carl A. Scates, 63, El Dorado, arrested Oct. 4 by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating probation. Released three hours later after posting a $5,000 surety bond. Previously jailed April 8 to 10, 2021, on suspicion of domestic battery and interference with a law enforcement officer.

Helen J. Smith, 56, Marion, arrested Oct. 5 by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating probation and twice failing to appear in court. Released Thursday after posting a combination of $12,250 in surety bonds. Previously jailed five times for a total of 18 days between Aug. 5, 2020, and June 6, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court, for failing to appear in court four times, and on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and possessing anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture drugs,

Scott A. Woodward, 55, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police for allegedly violating probation. Released Friday after posting a $25,000 surety bond.
