NEW ARRESTS

Lisa Bunting, 32, Wichita, arrested Monday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of distributing and possessing stimulants, possessing drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered vehicle, and failing to have a drug tax stamp. Held in lieu of $15,000 surety bond.

Matthew Finch, 38, Salina, arrested Monday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of distributing and possessing stimulants, possessing drug paraphernalia, and failing to have a drug tax stamp. Held in lieu of $15,000 surety bond.

Travis R. Grosse, 46, Marion, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of a fourth or subsequent offense of driving under the influence of intoxicants, operating a vehicle without a required anti-drinking interlock, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released six hours later after posting a $7,500 surety bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 10 days between Jan. 22, 2018, and May 24, 2022. Previous jailings were once on court orders, three times for failing to appear in court, once on a motion to revoke probation, and on suspicion of domestic battery and of possession of illicit stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Eric C. Pettit, 39, Galva, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court. Released 12 hours later after posting a $5,000 surety bond. Previously jailed June 18, 2020, on suspicion of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property; July 28 to 29, 2021, on suspicion of possessing stolen property; and June 30, 2022, on suspicion of driving an unregistered vehicle without liability insurance while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Bernard D. Porter, 35, Wichita, arrested Saturday by a state trooper on suspicion of being a habitual violator of driving without a valid license. Released two hours later after posting a $2,000 surety bond.

Jennifer L. Siegenthaler, 41, Wichita, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia and driving a vehicle without current registration. Released eight hours later after posting $11,150 in surety bonds.

Benjamin J. Thompson, 32, Topeka, formerly Ramona, jailed July 12 for 15 days on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of 12 days between April 24, 2018, and March 11, 2021. Previous jailings were on suspicion of interfering with law enforcement twice, domestic battery twice, battery of a law enforcement officer, aggravated endangering of a child, driving under the influence of intoxicants, transporting an open contain of alcohol, possession of marijuana, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Robert P. Tingen, 51, Goessel, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed July 25 and 26, 2021, for contempt of court and Sept. 28 and 29, 2021, on suspicion of domestic battery and making a criminal threat.

Marissa S. Zinn, 18, Lehigh, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released seven hours later after posting a $1,500 surety bond.
