NEW JAILINGS

Tyler A. Craft, 27, Marion, arrested Saturday by Marion police on suspicion of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Released a day later on $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed March 31 on suspicion of domestic battery.

Bryan D. Higgins, 36, Marion, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and of driving while his license was suspended. Released the next morning on $2,000 surety bond. Previously jailed Jan. 23 to 25, 2021, on court orders and April 9 and Oct. 10, 2020, on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, battery of a law enforcement officer, interference with law enforcement by destroying evidence, failure to yield, and another charge of driving while his license was suspended.

Ephraim Palacio, 28, Wichita, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing drugs; aggravated child endangerment by exposing a child to manufacture or sale of drugs; and possession of drugs, marijuana, another controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia. Released 10 hours later on $10,000 surety bond.

Bane L. Spurlin, 18, rural Hillsboro, arrested by a sheriff’s deputy April 20 — six days after a warrant for his arrest was issued — on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child. Released five hours after his jailing on $15,000 surety bond with a condition that he have no unsupervised contact with anyone younger than age 16.

Alonzo J. Stewart, 33, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released two hours later on $2,000 surety bond.

Ian Weisbeck, 45, Hillsboro, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police on three warrants for failure to appear in court. Held in lieu of $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed six times for a total of 170 days since Nov. 26, 2018, for five times violating probation, for twice failing to appear in court, twice on suspicion of domestic battery two times, and once on suspicion of criminal damage to property.
