NEW JAILINGS

Jay B. Bauman, 41, Clearwater, jailed Thursday for failing to appear in court. Released a day later without bond. Previously charged June 7 with possession of drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and with driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Seth M. Daniels, 30, Marion, arrested Friday by Marion police on suspicion of domestic battery, two counts of drug possession, and aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer. Held in lieu of $10,000 surety bond. No previously jailings in Marion County but accused in 10 felony, two misdemeanor, and five traffic cases in Anderson, Bourbon, Linn, and Miami Counties.

April N. Fore, 34, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police on a warrant revoking her probation from a previous conviction for interfering with a law enforcement officer. Released an hour later on $10,000 surety bond. She was a defendant in five previous misdemeanor and four previous traffic cases dating to 2014.

Mark W. Gipson, 59, Wichita, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Released the next day on $5,000 bond under a judicial order of release. Also cited for driving with a defective tail light and without liability insurance.

Richard D. Hill, 34, Newton, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for twice failing to appear in court. Released the next day without bond. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 122 days since July 5, 2019. Jailings were on suspicion of aggravated burglary (twice), domestic battery, and criminal damage to property; twice on court orders; six times for failing to appear in court; and once for allegedly violating probation.

Michael B. Nelson, 21, Marion, arrested Thursday by Marion police on suspicion of battery, domestic battery, and criminal damage to property. Held in lieu of $2,500 bond under a judicial order of release.

Jennilee R. Preece, 30, Florence, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Bond not set. Previously jailed Sept. 24 to 26, 2018, for allegedly violating probation after a 2017 battery conviction.

Julie M. Snyder, 42, Hillsboro, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released half an hour later on $2,000 surety bond. Previously jailed April 12 to 14, 2019, on court orders after a being found guilty of drug and driving violations.

Michelle L. Vining, 53. Wichita, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia and of driving without a valid license. Bond not set.

Eric J. Williams, 34, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $7,500 surety bond.
