NEW ARRESTS

Justice L. Johnson, 21, Abilene, jailed March 2 on two counts of probation violation. Released the next day on $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed Oct. 15 to 17, 2020; Feb. 27 to March 1, 2021; and April 2 to 3, 2021, on court orders, for failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of burglary and theft.

Bruce W. Richardson Jr., 49, McPherson, jailed Tuesday for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $15,000 surety bond. Previously jailed March 22 and 23, 2021; Jan. 1 to 6, 2020; and July 16, 2019, on court orders, for failing to appear in court, and twice on suspicion of possessing drugs, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana and once on suspicion of distributing heroin or stimulants, interfering with law enforcement, possessing paraphernalia intended to manufacture drugs, driving with a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle, and failing to have vehicle liability coverage.

Dustin D. Rodgers, 46, Hillsboro, jailed Thursday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Oct. 30 to 31 and May 5 to 6 for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of driving with a suspended, canceled, or revoked license and without evidence of liability insurance.

Kimberly F. Vanderzanden, 21, Elmdale, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of soliciting or possessing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Released the next day on $5,000 surety bond.

Dakota L. Young, 24, Florence, jailed Thursday for twice failing to appear in court. Released less than four hours later on $5,000 surety bond and $100 cash bond.
