NEW ARRESTS

Janet M. Geren, 61, Marion, jailed Thursday for contempt of court. Released the next day on $15,000 surety bond. Previously jailed March 22 and 23 on suspicion of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia and Aug. 6 and 7, 2020, on suspicion of domestic battery.

Brian W. Hiebert, 25, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Feb. 19 and 20, 2021; Nov. 15 through 30, 2020; and Aug. 19, 2018, on suspicion of vehicle burglary, two counts of theft, trespassing, three times failing to appear in court, contributing to a child’s misconduct, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Lukas L. Padillo, 27, Wichita, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of criminal restraint and battery. Released two hours later on $5,000 surety bond.

Gregory E. Sklenar, 59, Wichita, arrested Sept. 28 by a state trooper on suspicion of driving with a license that was canceled, suspended, or revoked plus speeding, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, and having defected wipers or an obstructed windshield. Released 3½ hours later on $1,500 surety bond.

Robert P. Tingen, 50, Goessel, jailed Sept. 28 for contempt of court. Released the next day without bond. Previously jailed July 25 and 26 on suspicion of domestic battery and making a criminal threat.
