Everett and Janet Cress headed for Billings, Mont., July 17 to watch Alan in a track meet. He won in the discus, shot put, and hammer throw. While in Billings, they visited Janet’s niece and nephew, Hanna and Howard Skidmore, and Erin Carpenter’s daughters, Ashley and Hailey. They also visited Justin Carpenter, Erin’s husband, at the National Guard Armory in Helena. They then went to Darby, Mont., to spend a few days with Alan and Mari. They had a barbecue, then on to Hamilton to visit Ruth Whitcomb and Tandice. Brandon and family took care of their chores while they were gone.
Doni Rogers and Margaret Morgan shopped July 24 in Eldorado. Doni visited Bill and Margie Williams later on in the day.
Dale and Tootsie Snelling, Hazel Clothier, and Bill and Margie Williams attended the co-op customer appreciation dinner July 21 at Burns Community Center.
Mark and Leann Leman, Kiana and Levie of Sedgwick, visited Dale and Tootsie Snelling on July 26.
Hazel Clothier met her daughter, Theresa Hill, and granddaughters, Nellie and Cassidy, for lunch July 24 in Marion.
Grandson Carl Williams and Becca of Wamego had dinner July 25 with Bill and Margie Williams.
Bill and Margie Williams joined family and friends to celebrate Jean Thompson’s 80th birthday July 25 in Cedar Point. Jean’s son, Wayne, from Florida, was host. Christi and Frank Soyez helped.
