Lonnie and Sharon Smith had their daughter, Julia Smith, and friends as supper guests.

Earlier this past week, Doni Rogers went to Council Grove with Sandi Cunningham where they ate lunch.

Doni attended the grand opening of a store in Cottonwood Falls Saturday and a bazaar and supper Saturday evening at Burns Methodist Church. Bill, Margie, and Hazel Clothier also attended the bazaar and supper.

Doni also attended a fall festival at a Mennonite church where she heard speakers from Morning Star and World Impact Ranch. A potluck dinner followed morning services.

We extend our sympathies to the family of Juanita Pierce. We know she will be missed by her family and friends.

Denise Lang and Margie Williams ate lunch Monday at Emporia and then did some shopping.

A Saturday dinner guest of Bill and Margie’s was their son, Gary Williams.

The Williams’ grandson, Carl Williams and Becca of Wamego were Sunday dinner guests.

Hazel Clothier ate breakfast Monday at Carriage Manor of Florence.

Hazel attended the grand opening of a Marion business Friday. She was a winner of a free meal at a Marion restaurant.

Montana and Hunter Cress of Cedar Point and Ashley Weems of Peabody were overnight guests Wednesday of Everett and Janet Cress. They stayed until Sunday. Other guests during the week were Greg and Ashley Ballew and Taylor, Darrin and Annette Weems and Janna of Peabody; Brandon and Carri Cress of Cedar Point; Squire Foster of Newton; and Sandi Cunningham.

Have a good week!
