Hazel’s son, Eugene Clothier, and sons, Chris and Ben, are visiting from Colorado Springs, Colo. They attended an alumni Saturday night banquet at Cedar Point schoolhouse.
Hazel Clothier met her daughter, Teresa Hill, Friday at a Marion restaurant.
Bill and Margie Williams went to Arkansas April 23 and returned home Monday. We spent two nights with my sister, Thelma Thigpen, in Little Rock and visited her family.
We visited Bill’s sisters, Lola Smith and Mary and Sylvia Williams, all of Harrel, Ark. We attended our school reunion at Hampton, Ark., April 25. Six members had died since last year.
Bill’s cousin from Washington was there. We had not seen her since 1958 and it was good seeing her again. We spent a lot of time together growing up.
The dogwood trees were beautiful in Missouri and Arkansas. The red clover beside the highway was beautiful. We enjoyed our trip. A big thank you to Carl and Denise Lang for doing our chores while we were gone.
Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie was grandson Carl Williams and Becca of Wamego.
Doni Rogers and Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to Burns Saturday for breakfast. In the evening, Dale and Tootsie went to a Relay for Life pork chop dinner at Marion.
Dale and Tootsie went to Halstead Sunday for their grandson, Levi Lewman’s, first communion. Afterward the church had a breakfast brunch for parents and grandparents.
Saturday dinner guest of Doni were Bill and Sharon Scheffler of Colwich.
