Julia Smith and some friends went to Winter Park, Colo., to spend four days of spring break.

Doni Rogers attended the monthly senior dinner Tuesday at Burns Community Building.

We extend sympathy to the family of Mason Fetrow. Mason was a well-liked member of the community. We know Mason wasn’t too well the last year, but you never met Mason that he didn’t have a smile for you. He will be missed by many who knew him.

Bill and Margie Williams called on Betty Fetrow and daughters Tuesday afternoon.

Hazel Clothier and Bill and Margie went to the visitation for Mason Fetrow Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Florence.

Bill and Margie Williams, Hazel Clothier, and Everett and Janet Cress attended the funeral service for Mason Fetrow Thursday at Cedar Point School.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to a dentist Tuesday in Newton. Later they visited Tootsie’s cousin, Carol and Ray Pierce, at Hesston.

Dale and Dean Snelling went to a farm auction Saturday at Goessel. Tootsie Snelling and Joyce Kyle worked on a Relay for Life for Kansas team. Later Tootsie met Doni Rogers in Burns for lunch.

Dean Snelling of Goessel was a weekend visitor of Dale and Tootsie. Dean helped Dale do some brush burning.

Dinner guests of Bill and Margie Saturday were Will, Gayla, Samantha, and Elliot Soyez of Goddard. We had a belated birthday celebration for Bill. We wish him many more birthdays.

Bill and Margie Williams attended a card party Relay for Life Saturday evening at Cedar Point School house.

Sunday dinner guests of Bill and Margie were Carl and Becca Williams of Wamego.

Hazel Clothier met her daughter Teresa Hill of Marion for lunch Friday at a Marion restaurant.

Janet Cress and Letha Goering went to Marquette Saturday to have lunch with their mom, Lorene Whitcomb, to help celebrate her 88th birthday. Julia Kitten also joined them. They celebrated with birthday cake. We wish Lorene a happy birthday and wish her many more.

Sunday visitors of Everett and Janet Cress were Greg and Ashley Ballew of Burns and Sue Prewitt of Leon.
