Doni Rogers went to First Mennonite Church at Burns Sunday and Monday nights to hear Dr. Owl Platte speak.
She went to Burns for a spaghetti supper Saturday night, sponsored by Burns City Library. Bev, Morgan, and Sandy Cunningham went with her.
Congratulations to Lonnie and Sharon Smith who welcomed another grandson, Colt Clyde Smith, born Feb. 14 — a valentine baby.
Bill and Margie Williams had their son, Gary Williams, as a dinner guest Wednesday. He also was a Thursday dinner guest with Will Soyez of Goddard and Florence.
Bill and Margie went to Friend’s University at Wichita Saturday evening to see Gayla’s team play basketball against Ottawa. Happy to report her team won, 69-49. Following the game, senior players were recognized. Gayla had two seniors on her team.
Later, Elliot and Samantha Soyez and Samantha’s friend, Dereck, went to eat. They had a nice time visiting.
Linda and Joe Heath of Florence recently visited Hazel.
Hazel met her daughter, Teresa Hill of Marion, Friday at a restaurant in Marion. Saturday afternoon, Hazel went to a Centre High School basketball game to watch her granddaughter, Cassidy Hill, play in a tournament. They played against Chase County.
Kevin and Teresa Hill, Heath and Cassiday of Marion were Sunday guests of Hazel. She attended a luncheon Wednesday at Florence Manor.
Everett and Janet Cress went with Squire and Doris Foster Saturday night to celebrate the Fosters’ wedding anniversary. We extend congratulations to them and wish them many more.
Everett and Janet ate supper Sunday with Craig and Ashley Ballew of Burns.
