Bill and Margie Williams spent the night on April 26 with Margie’s sister, Thelma Thigpen of Little Rock, Ark., and visited with her family. The next day, Thelma joined the Williamses in a trip to Hampton, Ark., where they spent the night and the following day. They met some classmates at a truck stop for a fish supper on April 27 and attended the Harrell School Reunion at the Hampton school on April 28.

On April 29, Margie and Thelma visited their home church and Bill attended his. Later, they ate dinner with Bill’s sisters, Mary and Sylvia Williams of Harrell. Bill and his sisters visited their sister, Lola Smith, in the nursing home in El Dorado, Ark., before they all returned to Little Rock for more family visiting. The Williamses returned home on April 30.

Doni Rogers and Bernice Odle went to the Mennonite concert on May 3 at the community building in Burns. Refreshments were served following the concert.

Doni Rogers, Dale and Tootsie Snelling, and Dean Snelling went to the Cinco de Mayo supper at The Mercantile in Florence on Saturday.

The Snellings attended the Goessel track meet on May 1 to see their granddaughter, Molly Hess, participate.

Tanny Bruington of Olathe was a May 1 overnight guest of Everett and Janet Cress. Rodney Charlston of Cedar Point was an afternoon visitor. Friday afternoon, Shannon Foster of Omaha, Neb., stopped by on her way to Newton. On Friday, Janet attended the alumni banquet at the Cedar Point schoolhouse.

Hazel Clothier met her daughter, Teresa Hill, Friday for lunch at the Pizza Hut in Marion. Hazel attended the alumni banquet at Cedar Point on Saturday.

Don and Twylah Nightengale and Bill and Margie Williams ate supper at Montana Mike’s in Newton on Friday for a belated birthday celebration for Don. Carl Williams of Wamego visited his grandparents, Bill and Margie, over the weekend.
