Doni Rogers ate lunch April 28 at a restaurant at Matfield Green. The next day, she and Bev Morgan went to Hutchinson to shop and visited Doni’s cousins.
Doni Rogers and Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to the pork supper fundraiser May 1 for Relay for Life at Marion VFW.
Brandon Chess of Cedar Point ate lunch May 2 with Everett and Janet Cress.
Janet Cress went to Southeast of Saline May 1 to watch her grandsons, Ethan and Ben Goodwin, in a state music contest.
Everett and Janet Cress and Hazel Clothier attended an alumni banquet May 1 at Cedar Point High School.
Hazel Clothier met her daughter, Teresa Hill, for lunch April 30 in Marion.
Bill and Margie Williams went to Arkansas April 22. They stayed with Thelma Thigpen in Little Rock. Bill, Margie, and Thelma went to Hampton April 23 and stayed two nights. They met a group for supper and visited. They attended their high school reunion April 24.
Bill and Margie visited Bill’s sisters, Mary and Sylvia Williams, and Lola Smith of Harrell.
Bill attended church services May 2 at the Baptist church. Margie and Thelma attended services at the Assembly of God church, the same church they attended as children. Later they met at Lola Smith’s house for lunch. They also visited with Margie’s cousin, Myrle Parker and his wife, Donna.
The group returned to Thelma’s home in Little Rock and stayed the night. The Williamses visited Thelma’s children and grandchildren, returning home May 3.
