The Lang family went to Branson, Mo., Thanksgiving week. Denise and Jaimie saw a movie, John and Johnny fished for trout, and the family had played miniature golf, ping-pong, swam, and viewed a magic show.
Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams were Will and Gayla Soyez, Elliot and Samantha of Goddard; Gary Williams, Terry Steinbacher, and Neva Hicks of Wichita.
Gary and Carl were Friday dinner guests. Grandson Carl and Becca Williams visited Nov. 29 from Wamego for a belated birthday celebration for Becca.
Thanksgiving Day guests of Dale and Tootsie Snelling were Doni Rogers, Sandy Cunningham, Dan and Tammy Snelling, Tristen and Seth of Marion; Mark and Leann Lewman, Kiana and Levi of Sedgwick; and Dean Snelling of Goessel.
Visitors of the Snellings Nov. 28 were Sherry, Karly, Molly, and Emmy Hess of Marion. They came to celebrate Dale’s birthday, which was Nov. 27.
Bill and Margie Williams’ daughter, Gayle Soyez, took them to a doctor’s appointment Dec. 1. Later they went to Friends University for Gayla to have basketball practice with her team. Elliot and Samantha joined them and the family ate out. Gayla brought the Williams’ home after we ate.
Guests of Dale and Tootsie Snelling Nov. 29 were Mark and Levi Lewman of Sedgwick and Dean Snelling of Goessel. They did some deer hunting and celebrated Levi’s ninth birthday.
Dinner guests of Lonnie and Sharon Smith Nov. 29 were Julia and Justin Smith, Sara, Lane, and Colt.
Everett and Janet Cress had their family home for Thanksgiving. Their granddaughter, Mariah Cress from Laramie, Wyo., was visiting Nov. 25 through 27. Janet said it was fun having her home with the rest of the family.
The Cress’ visitors the week of Thanksgiving were Everett’s brother, Eldon Cress of Emporia, Terry Bruinton of Olathe, and Gary Suelter of Burns. They went deer hunting.
Doni Rogers spent time in El Dorado Dec. 2, doing some shopping.
Hazel Clothier’s son, Eugene, of Colorado Springs, Colo., spent five days with her. He returned home Dec. 1.
