Hazel Clothier celebrated her 90th birthday July 5 at the American Legion in Florence. Hosts were her daughter Teresa Hill and family. Helpers were Delores Mann, Janet Post, Margie Williams, and Hazel’s nephew, Richard Mann.

Among those attending were Everett, Janet, and Mariah Cress, Doni Rogers, and many others.

Hazel met Teresa and Cassidy Hill July 2 for lunch in Marion.

July 4 dinner guests of Bill and Margie Williams were grandson Carl Williams and his wife, Becca, of Wamego.

Bill and Margie Williams attended a July Fourth celebration at Will and Gayla Soyez’s in Cedar Point.

Alan and Dalton Cress went home July 5 — Alan to Montana and Dalton to Wyoming. Alan caught enough fish to fill his coolers and take home with him.

Everett, Janet, and Mariah attended Roy Morgan’s memorial service July 3.

Doni Rogers visited Bernice Odle July 4. Dale and Tootsie Snelling visited Doni July 4.

Fourth of July weekend guests of Dale and Tootsie Snelling were Dan and Tammy Snelling, Seth, Tristan, and friend Adam Cope from Florence; Mark and Leann Lewman, Kiana and Levi from Sedgwick; and Dean Snelling from Goessel. Saturday visitors were Brandon and Breanna Lespagnard, Kinsley and Aubry from Austin, Texas.

July 6 afternoon visitors of Dale and Tootsie were George and Anita Lespagnard and Jennifer Breese from Haysville; Randy Lespagnard and daughter from Kansas City; and Brandon Lespagnard from Austin, Texas. They had been sightseeing and visiting in the neighborhood and stopped by the Snelling’s for awhile.

July 1 Dale and Tootsie went to Wichita for some shopping and to visit two of their granddaughters — Kristy Hess in the afternoon and Sonie and Doug Rust in Rose Hill.
