Bingo is on the schedule for this week
Peabody Senior Center will host bingo on Tuesday. Everyone is reminded to bring a favorite candy bar for the prize pool.
The game will start immediately after the meal.
On Aug. 10, the center will host its monthly birthday dinner. Seniors with August birthdays are encouraged to join in the fun.
Meals are served at 11:45 each day. Cook Kim Nellans is on vacation for a week, but Sharon Kessler and Judy Claassen are filling in for her so that she can enjoy her time off.
New menus are available from 8 a.m. to noon at the center.
The center requires that people planning to eat lunch at the center call in the day or evening before. If no one is available, there is an answering machine to leave a name and the date of the meal request.
Seniors 60 and older may eat a well-balanced meal for $2.75. Anyone 59 or younger may also eat at the center, paying $4.50 for the meal. There is no charge for any of the entertainment or programs hosted by the center.
