Wii bowling makes the scene again at Peabody Senior Center

After a successful Wii bowling tournament in February, Peabody seniors will be out to improve their scores in a second tournament Friday following the noon meal at the senior center. Participants are reminded to sign up in advance.
On March 8, bingo will be the name of the game. Play will begin right after the noon meal. Participants should bring a candy bar or small treat for the prize pool.
Devotions will be offered every Wednesday during Lent immediately after lunch. Devotions March 9 will be led by Marilyn Cox.
Plenty of March menu calendars still are available at the center for anyone interested in a enjoying a nutritious meal in friendly surroundings at 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. For seniors 60 and older, the charge is $2.75 for the meal. Others are welcome to join the group and the charge is $4.50.
For more information about meals or activities, contact the center at (620) 983-2226 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays. Meals can be reserved by leaving a message at the same number the night before attending the center to eat.
