CORRESPONDENTS: Milton: Nightengales travel to Kansas City

Milton correspondent

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale spent Oct. 17 and 18 with Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia in Kansas City. The Nightengales watched Casey Nightengale run in a cross-country meet Oct. 17 in El Dorado.

Al and Bonnie Plummer left Oct. 14 for Nixa, Mo., to visit Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abby. They went to the Arts and Crafts Show at War Eagle. They returned home Oct. 16.

Patti Gaines was able to return home Oct. 16 after having knee surgery Oct. 13.

Roger and Marla Campbell and family of Hesston were evening visitors Oct. 19 of Vernon and Judy Koehn.

Lawrence and Lois Sayers attended the 50th anniversary of Bob and Joan Denny Oct. 17 at Countryside Christian Church in Wichita. Supper guests Oct. 17 of the Sayers’ were Bruce and Melody Sayers and Jessica; Hayley Stewart; Roy and Sara Wessel, Leroy and Autumn; and Sandy Sayers.

Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizens meeting Oct. 15 in Hillsboro. Later she went to Marion to a Hospice meeting. On Oct. 19 and 20 she attended the AARP driver’s safety program in Burns.

The First Mennonite Church Senior Fellowship met Oct. 20 at the home of Dan and Alice Stucky. Attending were Rev. Arlen and Mary Busenitz, Dave and Esther Stucky, Mike and Larry Spachek, Howard Hess, Phyllis Mitchell, Sadie Decker, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
