Sherol Nightengale called on Leona Widler and Maude Gaines Saturday at Peabody Legacy Park. Saturday was Leona’s 104th birthday. Marvin and Sherol visited Leroy and Norma Riggs Sunday at Marion. They called on Bill and Marie Clark Monday in El Dorado.
Sunday dinner guests of Lawrence and Lois Sayers were Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica and friends, Melody and Keegan.
Evelyn Sidener and Joyce Kyle attended the joint church service Sunday at Cassoday. The Rev. Bower was honored for his service to Cassoday and Burns.
We had lots of rain and are thankful there were no storms here. Not much news because of rain. I have a granddaughter in Galveston. She got out but don’t know how much damage was done to possessions.
