Shelley Plummer of Kansas City came to her parents’ Al and Bonnie, for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. They went to the home of Ben and Jean Plummer in El Dorado in the afternoon to join others for dinner.
Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee Koehn joined other youth of the Ebenfeld Church to give a program Thursday evening for some residents in El Dorado,
Ronnie and Patti Gaines and Dusty Gaines of Wichita enjoyed the Trans Siberian Orchestra Friday evening at Kansas Coliseum, Park City.
Ronnie and Patti attended the Summit Church Christmas program Sunday evening.
Congratulations to Bruce Sayers and Melody Stewart on their marriage, Dec. 9. They were married in Bruce’s home near Cassoday. Pastor Jim Bush performed the ceremony. Family members in attendance were Megan and Jessica Sayers; Lawrence and Lois Sayers; Donald and Sarah Hunt of Holts Summit, Mo.; Sarah Sayers, Autumn, and friend; Roy Wessel and friend; and Joyce Kyle.
Nobody in the community had much news but I seemed to make up for everyone.
I went to the Peabody-Burns Elementary School Christmas program Thursday evening with Mack and Shayla Clark, and Hadley and marie Clark.
On Friday evening, I went to the Burns PRIDE Christmas program. Marie Clark and Hadley Clark also went with me.
Marie Clark and I called on Leroy Riggs Friday afternoon at St. Luke Living Center in marion.
Mary Langenegger, Amber Langenegger, Laura Humig, and I were supper guests Saturday evening of Daniel and Emily Unruh. What a delicious meal.
On Sunday evening, I went to a Christmas banquet at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
I went to Norma Clark’s Monday for 20th Century Club. Sherry Nightengale, Lois Sayers, and Rhonda Brenzikofer also were there.
On Tuesday I went to senior citizens and then to Bruce Sayer’s wedding.
