Marvin and Sherol Nightengale visited Maude Gaines Sunday afternoon at St. Luke Hospital and Leroy Gaines at St. Luke Living Center. We wish them both “better days.”

Ronnie and Patti Gaines spent several day at Marion with Maude. Dusty Gaines of Wichita came Tuesday evening and they went to see Maude.

Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls ate lunch Friday with Lawrence and Lois Sayers.

Bonnie Plummer met Shelby Plummer of St. Joseph, Mo., in Kansas City this past Sunday and they enjoyed a day of shopping. Austin, Draven, and Aiden Bidwell of El Dorado spent Friday night and Saturday night with their grandparents, Al and Bonnie Plummer. Bonnie took them home Sunday afternoon. Shelby’s birthday was Sunday and she enjoyed the day with her father, Al.

Johnny and Laura Hostettler, Joseph and Michael of Belleville, Pa., Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, and Nathan and Ella Koehn were supper guests Friday of Roland and Kim Koehns’, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diana. Laura is a granddaughter of Nathan and Ella.

Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee Koehn were guests Saturday evening at a family supper for Starla Schmidt and Wesley Koehn at Eden Christian School. They and their parents, Renferd and Wanda, attended the wedding Sunday. Congratulations, Starla and Wesley.

Bob and Becky Kyle and Brody hosted a birthday dinner Oct. 19 for Braxton. Attending were grandparents Vladik, Brian, and Katy Henry, Skylar and Taylor of Wichita; Brad and Sherry Glover, Zach and Carrie of Whitewater; Marion and Carolyn Rowland, Glenn and Betty Kyle, Dan and Robin Kyle, and Joyce Kyle. Congratulations, Braxton.

I was on the “blah” list all week and appreciated the calls, cards, and visits. Calling on me were Lois Sayers, Marie Clark, and Patti Gaines. My sister, Mary Langenegger, took me to the doctor Monday morning. Things are better.
