Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended a track meet Thursday at Circle to watch their grandson, Casey Nightengale, run. The Nightengales went to Manhattan Sunday and were guests of Mitch and Cathy Foote. Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia of Kearney, Mo., joined them for Mother’s Day.
Bruce and Melody Sayers stopped Saturday to see Lawrence and Lois Sayers. Sandy Sayers was their guest on Sunday.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Thursday supper guests of Dusty Gaines. Dusty and Ty called on their parents on Sunday.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Dalen and Roland and Kim Gaines, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diane enjoyed Mother’s Day dinner with Nathan and Ella Koehn at Moundridge Manor.
Vernon and Judy Koehn and Luana Isaac were Wednesday supper guests of Kevin and Jan Jantz, Kaylee, Shauna, and Jessie. They celebrated Shauna’s birthday. I’m sorry to report that Kevin is in St. Francis Hospital at this time. We wish him well.
Several of the Eden youth group recently honored Joyce Kyle by coming to sing for her. Joyce met Archie and Maryellen Stenzel for breakfast Friday morning at a café in Marion.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle attended Martha Shinn’s funeral Saturday afternoon at the Ebenezer church. They attended Kristen Newfield’s graduation party Saturday evening, joining relatives and friends. Congratulations to Kristin.
The men of Burns United Methodist Church served breakfast to the women on Mother’s Day. It was a delicious meal.
Joyce Kyle was a Mother’s Day dinner guest of Bob and Becky Kyle, Brody and Braxton. Glenn and Betty Kyle and Dan and Robin Kyle also were guests.
