Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Manhattan April 8 and joined Cathy Foote, Kristen, and Sophie Wilds and went to Rolling Hills zoo and preserve near Salina.
The Nightengales went to a track meet April 9 in Marion to watch grandson Casey Nightengale run.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines attended the 65th wedding anniversary open house of Harvey and Gwen Gaines April 11 at Peabody Senior Center.
Supper guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee April 10 were Nathan Koehn of Burns and Cherokee Koehn and Wilma Peight of Moundridge. Two of the girls work at Moundridge Manor.
Burns senior citizens met April 13 for a potluck dinner.
