Marvin and Sherol Nightengale took Norma Riggs out for lunch March 4.

Vernon and Judy Koehn and Luana Isaac were dinner guests March 7 of Rose Forgy, Melissa, and Ryan.

Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Kayla, and Diane hosted dinner March 7 for Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Dalen and Carolee; Nathan Koehn; and Charity Koehn of Moundridge. They celebrated Wanda’s birthday.

Lois Sayers went to Wichita March 3 and met former school secretaries for lunch.

Lawrence and Lois Sayers went to Cottonwood Falls March 4 to visit her sister, Mary Archer. They went to Emporia and shopped.

Bruce and Melody Sayers and Jessica were dinner guests March 7 of Lawrence and Lois Sayers.

Mary Archer and her son, Tom, of Cottonwood Falls called on Lawrence and Lois Sayers March 2. They were returning home after an appointment with Mary’s doctor.

Jim Gehring of Moundridge called on Joyce Kyle March 3.

Burns senior citizens met March 2 for a monthly potluck dinner. Gayla Ratzlaff arrived early to help with applications for Homestead and Food Sales Tax refunds. Attending the dinner were the Rev. Jim Bush, Dale and Tootsie Snelling, Calvin and Esta Hall, Sandi Cunningham, Doris Rogers, LaVonne Ammeter, Beverly Morgan, Evelyn Sidener, James Olberding, Carl Riggs, Lowell Larsen, Everett and Janet Cress, Ray Robinson, Ryan Johnson, Ken Perry, Tim Robertson, Albert Gustainus, John Schmidt, Mike Morgan, Cindy Jackson, Colleen Brunner, Diane Nelson, Gayla Ratzlaff, and Joyce Kyle. USD 398 Superintendent Rex Watson presented information about the financial condition of the district.

After the dinner and program, Dale and Tootsie Snelling hosted a surprise 75th birthday party for Doni Rogers. Cake was served. Marjorie Williams, Delores Mann, Robin Morgan, Kay Clark, and Teresa and Fern Goodwin also joined the party.
