Jack and Ashley Wiebe, Seth and Faith joined the Thiessen brothers and sisters at the home of Gary and Monica Thiessen Dec. 6 to celebrate Gary’s birthday.
The Eden Church Youth Group volunteered at the Assembly of God Christmas supper and sang one evening last week. They bought gifts for foster children —32 children and their families. They are sponsored by TFI.
Carolee Koehn called on Joyce Kyle the afternoon of Dec. 2. She brought an invitation for the Eden Youth Christmas supper, which was the evening of Dec. 8. Lawrence and Lois Sayers, LaVonne Ammeter, and Joyce attended.
Joyce attended the First Mennonite Christmas Banquet the evening of Dec. 6.
The Burns United Methodist Women filled “Goodie Boxes and Cheer Plates” Dec. 10. Mary Langenegger went with Joyce to deliver plates to Kenneth Weber, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Frank and Rosalie Heath.
Sherol Nightengale was hostess to the Twentieth Century Club Dec. 7. Guests were LaVonne Ammeter, Rhonda Brenzikofer, Marie Clark, Norma Clark, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Joyce Kyle, Lois Sayers, and Twilah Nightengale. Everyone shared their comings and goings for the past month. Activities include going to the movies, shopping, moving into a new house, viewing the Country Club Plaza lights in Kansas City, Mo., and of course eating. The January meeting will be at Joyce Kyle’s. Sherol served refreshments to all in her “Christmassy” home.
