Sherol Nightengale returned home from the hospital on May 18 after having knee surgery. Cathy Foote had been at home with them the first of the week and Linda Hess came on May 18 and stayed until May 20. Visitors on May 20 were Roger and Casey Nightengale and Norma Riggs. Sherol started therapy in El Dorado May 21.
On May 20, Dalen and Beth Koehn were dinner guests of Renferd, Wanda, and Lonnie Koehn.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Bruce Sayers, and Sandy Sayers went to Wichita on May 19 to attend the graduation of Megan Sayers at Koch Arena. Megan and Jessica Sayers called on them May 20.
Vernon and Judy Koehn attended the Eden Christian School Play Day on May 19.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Amy Wedel’s graduation party at the home of her parents, Art and Jana Wedel, on May 20. On May 21, they went to Madison to see their granddaughter, Brooke Gaines, graduate from kindergarten. Dusty Gaines, and Terry and Deanne Warhurst were also there.
Weekend guests, from May 18 to May 20, of Al and Bonnie Plummer were their grandchildren Austin, Draven, Aiden and Raven Bidwell of Leon.
On May 18, Marie Clark and Joyce Kyle attended a graduation party for Brody Kyle at the home of his parents, Bob and Becky Kyle.
On May 19, Greg and Zeola Langenegger took Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle to Hesston to Morgan Schrock’s party.
Joyce Kyle went to Baccalaureate at Peabody on May 20, to Brian and Carrie Kasper’s for a dinner honoring their daughter, April, and then to Peabody-Burns High School Commencement.
The First Mennonite senior fellowship met at the home of Mary Langenegger on May 22. Due to illness and other commitments, not many were able to attend. Only Greg and Zeola Langenegger, Mike and Larry Spachek, and Joyce Kyle were present.
Bert and Scott Zogelman visited Joyce Kyle on May 20 in the evening.
Word was received of the death, on May 21, of Mrs. Bill (Marie) Clark.
