Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Mitch and Cathy Foote were Mother’s Day dinner guests of Brad and Diane Nightengale and family in El Dorado.
On May 14, Marie Clark and Hadlye Clark called on Marvin and Sherol Nightengale in the afternoon. Cathy Foote came to the Nightengale home that evening and went to Wichita with them on May 15 for Sherol’s knee replacement surgery.
Taylon and Shelby Pyeatt took Al and Bonnie Plummer out for a pre-Mother’s Day dinner on May 12. On Mother’s Day, Al took Bonnie to Legends in Wichita for brunch.
During Mother’s Day weekend, Ronnie and Patti Gaines saw Dusty Gaines, Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke, Kenny and Roma Koehn, Shawn and Jean Koehn and boys, Jeff and Jill Koehn and girls, and Todd and Terry Moddelmog and Tia.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn and Lonnie, Dalen, and Beth Koehn were May 13 dinner guests of Vernon and Judy Koehn.
Sandy Sayers spent May 12 with her parents for a pre-Mother’s Day visit.
Marie Clark attended a barbecue for Breanna Nelson at Cassoday Community Building on May 11. Her parents, Brett and Brenda Nelson, hosted the barbecue in honor of Breanna earning her master’s degree.
On May 12, Marie attended Collin Stucky’s graduation from Wichita State University and a luncheon held in his honor. Collin also earned a master’s degree.
Later in the afternoon, Marie attended Ashley Reed’s graduation from WSU with a bachelor’s degree in art. A barbecue at the Reed home was held in her honor.
Marie attended Marion High School graduation on May 13, to see Colten Johnson graduate. She was a guest at a pre-graduation luncheon at the Johnson home in Marion.
Wayne and Gloria Handle were overnight guests of Marie on May 12.
Joyce Kyle had lunch with Scott and Bert Zogelman in Florence on May 11. On May 12, she and Mary Langenegger accompanied Greg and Zeola Langenegger to Valley Center for a graduation reception for Desert Johnson at the home of her parents, Charlie and Bonnie Johnson.
Joyce was a Mother’s Day guest at the home of Glenn and Daytha Langenegger. Other guests were Mary, Gary, Greg and Zeolo Langenegger; Daniel and Emily Unruh and nephews; Julian, Andy, and Amber Hansen; and Sam and Laura Humig and Anna.
