Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to the home of Shawn and Jean Koehn on April 21 to celebrate their son’s birthday. Other guests were Kenny and Roma Koehn, Jeff and Jill Koehn and girls, Dusty Gaines, and Todd and Terry Moddlemog and family.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were in Wichita on business April 23. They also called on Joyce Barker and report she is improving.

Vernon Koehn called on Lawrence, Lois, and Bruce Sayers on April 20.

Noah and Vernella Peachy and Catherine of Belleville, Pa., came to Kansas on April 21 and enjoyed a hamburger fry at the home of Renferd and Wanda Koehn and Lonnie with Nathan Koehn, father of Vernella, Dalen and Beth Koehn, Charity Koehn, Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diane. The Peachys attended a wedding Sunday and in the evening they met at the home of Roland and Kim Koehn — all except the young folks who had other arrangements. The Peachys spent the nights at the home of Nathan Koehn. They left for home Monday morning.

On April 22, Sunday dinner guests of Mary and Gary Langenegger were Greg and Zeola Langenegger and grandson, Justin Curiel, Glenn and Daytha Langenegger and granddaughter Amy Humig and Joyce Kyle.

Marie Clark went to Newton the morning of April 22 and went to church with Jennipher Stucky at the Grace Community Church. In the evening they attended a children’s program there. She was an over-night guest, returning home Monday morning.

James Olberding and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizens’ County Board meeting at Tamp on April 20.

Bruce Sayers is staying with his parents, Lawrence and Lois. He is going through a slow recovery.
