Clarks celebrate birthday in Manhattan
Mary Langenegger hosted the First Mennonite Senior Fellowship on June 21. Attendees included the Rev. Arlen Busenitz and Emily, Dan and Alice Stucky, Mike and Larry Spachek, Doni Rogers, and Joyce Kyle.
Lois and Sandy Sayers went shopping June 18 in Wichita. Guests of Lawrence and Lois Sayers on June 19 were Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica, and Sandy Sayers.
Dusty Gaines was a June 19 guest of his parents Ronnie and Patti Gaines. The evening of June 20 Ronnie and Patti went to Madison to visit Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke.
Marie Clark and Mack and Shayla Clark and Hadlye went to Manhattan on June 18 to celebrate Bayleigh Clark’s birthday.
Marie Clark and Larry and Diane Nelson went to Marion on June 19. They ate lunch out and drove around the lake and reservoir. Marie and Diane went shopping June 20 in Newton.
On June 17, Burns Senior Citizens hosted the county board.

Al and Bonnie Plummer recently spent a week visiting her brother, Joe Lambert, in Norton. They attended the wedding of a friend in Logan. They returned home June 12.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale visited Don and Twylah Nightengale on June 12.
Sandy Sayers visited her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, June 11.
Jake and Rhonda Schmidt, Aaron and Waylon; Kelly and Kristie Jantz, Connor and Addison; and Dalen and Beth Koehn were guests June 11 of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Kenny and Roma Koehn, and Jeff and Jill Koehn and girls camped June 11 and 12 at Marion County Lake. On June 11, Ronnie, Kenny, and Dusty Gaines attended a steak feed in Burns.
Patti Gaines attended the funeral of Naomi Davis on June 14 in Peabody.
Joyce Kyle attended services for Edwin Winter on June 10 in Hillsboro. In the afternoon, Joyce took a baby quilt made for Kathleen Brenzikofer back to Kansas Christian Home in Newton. Later they called on Mack Weber at Presbyterian Manor.
Attending the 60th wedding anniversary open house for Don and Marjorie Gfeller and services for Richard Brenzikofer on June 11 were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Ronald and Dorene Kirkpatrick, Marie Clark, Lois Sayers, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
