Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Joyce Kyle attended the wedding of Shelby Plummer and Falon Pyeatt Aug. 28 at the Plummer home. Out-of-town guests included Hayley Bidwell and family of El Dorado, Martin and Kayme Voelker and family of Nixa, Mo., Doug and Vicky Lambert of Murray, Ky., Richard and Deb Lambert of Trenton, Neb., Dorothy Plummer of Emporia, Kay Lambert of Wakarusa, Judy Brewer of Stafford, Sue Jackson of Logan, and Gary and Jody Smith of Wichita. Kay was Shelby’s maid of honor, Sue and Judy were bridesmaids, and Jody was the flower girl.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines met Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke Aug. 27 in Strong City. Dusty Gaines met Ty and Kim in El Dorado.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale visited Twylah Nightengale at Newton Medical Center Aug. 29. She returned home Aug. 30.
