Residents attend Summit service

It was a well-attended but sad last service Oct. 10 at Summit United Methodist Church. Those attending from the community were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Ronnie and Patti Gaines.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to El Dorado Oct. 9 to watch Casey Nightengale run in a meet.
Al and Bonnie Plummer stayed several days the week of Oct. 11 visiting Bonnie’s brother, Joe Lambert, at Norton.
Dinner guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines on Oct. 10 after the church service were Dusty Gaines, Jim and Sally Abel, Kim Robb, Jean Gaines, Vickie Gentz, and Shelly Harper.
Sandy Sayers stayed Oct. 9 with her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers.
The Eden youth group visited Joyce Kyle and sang Oct. 7. Sponsors Ron and Margaret Jantz; Leah, Deby, Doug and Chris Koehn; and Waylon Schmidt attended.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle called on Kathleen Brenzikofer on Oct. 8. Joyce attended a farewell supper Oct. 10 for Don and Laverna Parrish and Melissa at the Methodist Church. The family is moving to Hesston.
