Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle attended the graveside service for Earl Mercer on Sept. 18 in Augusta. He was the father of Mrs. Wayne Kyle and a resident of Clyde, Texas.
Wayne and Deby Kyle of Hamilton, Texas, arrived at Joyce Kyle’s home Sept. 18 to visit for a few days. Other visitors were Bob Kyle and Mack Clark. Visitors Sept. 20 were Mary and Gary Langenegger.
Burns United Methodist Women were guests Sept. 16 of Cassoday United Methodist Women to hear Dixie Brown.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Sandy Sayers ate lunch Sept. 18 in Cottonwood Falls with Lois’ sister, Mary Archer.
Al and Bonnie Plummer went to Emporia on Sept. 16 and ate lunch with Dorothy Plummer in celebration of her 90th birthday. The next day, they went to Nixa, Mo., to the home of Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson, and Abby. The Pro Bull Riders rodeo was at Springfield, Mo., Sept. 17 through 19. They met Bonnie’s nephew, Cody Lambert, and visited. Talon and Shelby Pyratt of Haysville joined them Sept. 18.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines attended the wedding of Deby Gillet and Jim Anderson on Sept. 18 at the Pat Post home.
