Local people attend wedding in Wichita

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Marie Clark attended the wedding of Scott Bickel and Jennifer Bottenberg on Dec. 4 in Wichita. Scott is a grandson of Joyce Barker.

Sandy Sayers took her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, to Newton on Dec. 4 to celebrate her dad’s birthday. Lawrence and Lois went to Emporia on Dec. 7 and stopped at Cottonwood Falls on their return trip to visit Lois’ sister, Mary Archer.

Guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, and Carolee on Dec. 5 were Dalen and Beth Koehn; Nathan Koehn; Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diana; Royce and Rachel Koehn and their youngest daughter, Lanae; and Steven Holdeman and Abigail of Brazil.

Al and Bonnie Plummer ate Thanksgiving Day dinner at a Baptist church in El Dorado. They ate with Al’s brother and sisters and Hayley and Jeremy Bidwell, Austin, Draven, Ian, and Raven, and Taylon and Shelby Pyeatt. Shelby and Taylon stayed overnight Nov. 26 with the Plummers. Bonnie and Shelby shopped in Marion and Hillsboro on Nov. 27.

Dan and Alice Stucky celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 5. Attending the celebration from the community were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Marie Clark, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
