CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter: Women meet to discuss plans

Norma Clark, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Lori Sayers met May 26 at LaVonne Ammeter’s home to plan club books for 20th Century Club.

LaVonne decorated the May birthday cake May 26 for Legacy Park. LaVonne and Stan Ammeter delivered the birthday cake May 27 for the monthly party at Legacy Park. Later, LaVonne attended the party and visited Donna Robb, Rose Hatcher, Dorothy Whisler, and Bill Krause. His wife, Shirley, also was visiting. Virgie Jones celebrated her 100th birthday.

Betty Wyss Bowers visited LaVonne May 29 and they went to Ebenezer Cemetery to decorate graves. The women ate lunch at Peabody and visited Richard and Lucille Wyss at Legacy Park. Kenton Wiebe and Taryn visited LaVonne later in the afternoon.

John Boese and Dylan took LaVonne to the St. Luke Hospital emergency room in Marion May 30 for her shoulder.

LaVonne and others attended a barbecue May 30 for Chloe who had visited John and Michele Boese and Dylan for a week. Chloe returned home May 31 to Colorado.

LaVonne went to Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody on May 31 to see the avenue of flags.

B.J. Ammeter took his grandmother, LaVonne, to a doctor June 1 in Marion and they did some shopping. B.J. had returned from Ellinwood late May 31.
