CORRESPONDENTS: Ammeter: No room at the Ammeter farm

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., and Angela Bunger, Collin and Mitchell, of Manhattan visited Opal Craney the morning of Aug. 1. In the afternoon, they arrived at the Ammeter farm and were supper guests. Angela and boys left after supper for home. The Ammeters spent the night with LaVonne.

Blaine and Carol Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived at LaVonne’s late Aug. 1 to spend the night. They had been at Blaine’s class reunion at Marion County Lake. Myron and Sally, Carol, and LaVonne went to church Aug. 2 at Summit.

LaVonne’s dinner guests Aug. 2 were Gary Davis, B.J., Carol and Blaine, and Myron and Sally. They all left for their homes afterward. Blaine took LaVonne to an eye appointment July 29 in Wichita. Afterward they shopped in Newton. Blaine left for home late in the evening.

B.J. and LaVonne delivered a birthday cake July 30 to Legacy Park. They visited with residents playing bingo.

Donna Kirkpatrick and LaVonne cleaned the church in the morning of July 31. LaVonne went to Legacy Park in the afternoon and visited Emma Shaw, Donna Robb, Dorothy Whisler, and Bill Krause. She visited Howard and Roger Hess on the way out and was informed that Dave Stucky had fallen and was in a hospital in Wichita.

John Boese and Dylan visited LaVonne on July 31.

Michele Boese was an evening visitor Aug. 3. Marie Clark was a morning visitor Aug. 4. Kerri Wiebe and Tianna visited in the afternoon.
