Myron Ammeter returned Wednesday morning from Opal’s. Sally Ammeter took her mother, Opal, to the eye doctor. Myron, Stan and B.J. Ammeter hunted all morning. They picked up Sally. They were here for supper and stayed all night.
On Thanksgiving Day, the boys went hunting in the morning. Sally and I went to get Opal and we had Thanksgiving dinner. Myron, Sally, Opal, and Stan were dinner guests.
Blaine and Carol Ammeter and B.J. arrived late evening and were overnight guests.
Carol went to her folks, Marjorie and Don, after lunch. Donna and Gary also were visitors of the Gfellers.
The hunters got an early start Friday morning. Blaine, B.J., Stan, and Darrel of Wichita, were dinner guests.
We awoke Saturday morning to snow. Blaine, B.J., Carol, and I went to El Dorado for shopping After lunch we decorated my new Christmas tree. Stan and Karen of Colorado were lunch guests. Blaine and Carol left later afternoon for Ellinwood.
Joey Gibson of Newton called Friday evening to wish us a “Happy Thanksgiving.” So good to hear from him and Charlene.
Dan Wiebe, Taryn, Kenton, and Tiana visited B.J. and me.
I went to church Sunday morning at Whitewater Center.
I went shopping Monday at Peabody and had new tires put on my car. We awoke to some more snow.
Stan and B.J. were Tuesday dinner guests. Blaine came later afternoon and was a supper guest. He left later that evening for Ellinwood.
Are you ready for winter? I think this “yo-yo” weather is something else. Hope you all have a good week and stay warm.
