Stan Ammeter took me to the dentist Wednesday afternoon and I bummed a ride to Burns that evening with Lois and Laverne Sayers to get my flu shot.

Michele Boise and LaVonne were in Peabody on business late Thursday afternoon.

Sandy Fritz visited LaVonne Friday afternoon.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island and Chad and Angela Bunger, Mitchell and Callin of Junction City arrived at the Ammeter farm Sunday morning. Sally and Angela fixed dinner and Myron and Chad did some honey-do jobs for me. Stan was a dinner guest and made homemade ice cream. I did so enjoy Mitchell and Callin. Callin is growing so and Mitchell is such a busy little boy. Later Sunday afternoon they all went to Grandma Craney’s for supper.

Myron and Sally were overnight guests of Opal and went home late Monday afternoon.

Marie Clark picked LaVonne up Monday afternoon and they went to visit Maudie Gaines at Legacy Park. She’s getting along OK. They visited Aunt Leona Wilder and she’s OK.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived at LaVonne’s late Monday night and took me to the doctor in El Dorado Tuesday morning. After lunch, he went to Wichita to his doctor appointment. He came back and spent the night. Stan and Blaine were supper guests.

Blaine helped Stan mow Wednesday and did some little jobs for me. Blaine left for Ellinwood late afternoon.

Our prayer and get well wishes to the family of Parilee Bloomer.

Our prayer and sympathy to the Riggs family in the loss of their loved one.

Sure did have a nice rain and this lovely weather is great.

Last week’s news:

Morgan and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived at the Ammeter farm Wednesday evening to spend Thursday and Friday. Sally went to her mom’s April Crany to spend the day Thursday and Myron and I went over that evening to do some little jobs, staying for supper. They did lots of jobs for me on Friday. They left late afternoon Friday for Angela and Chad Mitchell at Cullin to spend the night. Saturday they all tailgated and attended the Kansas State University football game.

Melody Magetti of Dodge City arrived Friday evening to spend the weekend. We attended the Clark reunion Saturday at the Burns Community Building. Saturday was a big day. We had 42 or 43 attending. The Leo Clark family was in charge. We had a great time and lots of food, visiting, and picture taking.

We had church Sunday at Summit, and I got to go. Pastor Ragland had his usual good message.

Melody left for Dodge City in the late afternoon.

Michele Boese and Dylan visited Monday evening.

Kerri Wiebe visited Monday morning to get some apples.

Joyce Kyle picked me up Monday afternoon and we went to Twentieth Century Club meeting at Marie Clark’s.

Mary Mahoney came to LaVonne’s Tuesday evening to do my physical therapy.

I’m out of the sling part time but still can’t do much. Hope you all are enjoying this weather.
