How about this weather? Ladies Aid met at LaVonne’s Wednesday afternoon. Sherry and Dorene were there.

I went to Marion Thursday morning for physical therapy. I visited Leroy Riggs in the living center.

I visited Maude Gaines Saturday afternoon and went to Peabody. Late that afternoon, Michele Boese, Dylan and Eric came to visit and see the baby kittens.

We had church at Summit Sunday. Pastor Ragland had a real good message.

I went to Legacy Park Sunday afternoon to visit Aunt Leona Widler, Emma Shaw, Donna Robb, Bill and Shirley Krause, Dorothy Whisler, and brother Don. I stopped to visit Maude on the way home. Shelly Harper of Inman was there visiting her mom.

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Monday morning at the Ammeter farm to take LaVonne to the eye doctor in El Dorado. Blaine and Stan mowed all afternoon and had supper with me. Blaine left for home late that evening.

Michele Boese visited Monday evening.

We extend prayers and sympathy to the Lowell Unruh family in the loss of their loved one.

Well, we had four and a half inches of rain in the rain gauge Wednesday morning and it’s August! Can you believe that?

Ladies Aid met Wednesday afternoon at LaVonne’s. Sherry and Dorene came.

I went to Marion Thursday morning in pouring-down rain. I had physical therapy and visited Leroy Riggs and Mel Brewer in the nursing home. Leroy looks real good.

Blaine Ammeter stopped by Thursday evening for supper and visiting on his way home from Wichita. He’d been to the doctor. He’s doing OK but he thinks it’s slow healing. Stan Ammeter joined us for supper.

I went to Peabody Friday afternoon to visit at Legacy Park. They were playing bingo so I got to visit with all of them. Went to visit Aunt Nonie Widler and Don Gillet. Visited Maudie a little while at her home. Blaine and Carol of Ellinwood arrived late Friday night and stayed all night.

Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., and Amy Drake and Daniel of Maple Grove, Minn., came Saturday afternoon from Opal’s, where they had spent the night. Chad and Angela Bunger, Mitchell and Collin of Junction City joined the group at the Ammeter farm. Stanley Ammeter came to spend the day.

The Bungers and Blaine and Carol left late Saturday afternoon and Myron and Sally and Amy and Daniel spent the night and left late Sunday afternoon. Daniel and Mitchell had so much fun and we all stood in line to hold Collin. He’s really growing. Stan and Daniel had so much fun. Those great-grandkids surely are special.

I went to Peabody Monday afternoon to visit brother, Don at Legacy Park. I visited Laura Slocombe and Warren was visiting his mom.

I went to Marion for PT Tuesday morning and visited Leroy Riggs and did some shopping. I visited Maude Gaines late that afternoon. Michele Montgomery of Florence visited LaVonne Tuesday evening.

Marjorie and Fordyce Gray visited Maudie Sunday afternoon. Shelly Harper was a Sunday guest.
