Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., arrived at the Ammeter farm Thursday to spend the night. P.J. and Stan also were dinner guests. Michele Boese and Dylan visited LaVonne and guests Thursday evening.

Myron and Sally left Friday morning for her mother’s, Opal Craney, to spend the night. Saturday morning they went to Manhattan to visit Chad and Angela and boys. They all went to a game at K-State.

Carolyn Holm of Wichita arrived at LaVonne’s Friday afternoon. They went to a café in Burns for supper. On Saturday they went to Peabody and took in several garage sales. They visited Luba Brinkman and went to Legacy Park to visit Laura Branham. I visited Rosalie Smith. On the way home, we visited friends. Carolyn left for Wichita late afternoon. We had a great day!

Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived Monday evening to spend the night and Tuesday. LaVonne had a Twentieth Century Club meeting Monday afternoon at her home. Dorene Kirkpatrick helped me with refreshments. Attending were Marie Clark, Norma Clark, Joyce Kyle, and Lois Sayers. Twilah Nightengale was a guest. We had a good meeting and visiting.

Blaine and LaVonne went grocery shopping Tuesday afternoon in Peabody. Michele Montgomery stopped by Tuesday afternoon.

Sally Ammeter called Sunday evening to tell us Myron was in the hospital. We don’t know what’s going on but hope for the best. They’re doing all kinds of tests.

We send sympathy and prayers to the Jewell Swift family in the loss of their son and a get well wish to Marion Cubbage.
