I went to Florence to get a perm at a local beauty shop. I went to Peabody in the afternoon and decorated a cake for Legacy Park.
Stan and I went to El Dorado Thursday morning. We took recycling and pop cans, and did some shopping. Later in the afternoon, I took a birthday cake to Legacy Park, visited Marge Manka, Roy Manka, Emma Shaw, Donna Robb, and Aunt Nonie Widler. It was such a lovely day.
B.J. Ammeter came Thursday morning to spend some time at the Ammeter farm.
I visited Don Gillet Friday afternoon and attended a birthday party at Legacy Park. It was a great party — 30 people attended. Wow!
Late Saturday afternoon, Blaine and Carol came. They had attended a wedding in Newton. Supper guests were B.J. Ammeter, Blaine and Carol, and Stan. Blaine and Carol went back to Ellinwood. Marie Clark came to visit a little while.
We had church Sunday at Summit. Dennis Riggs had the service. He had a good message. I was so proud of him. Steve came to play the hymns.
Gary Davis of Newton ate lunch with me Sunday. It rained all day and we had a lot of rain and storm Sunday night. The wind blew terribly and rained four and one-half inches.
Michele Boese came Monday afternoon and visited.
Michele and I went to Marion Tuesday. I had a doctor’s appointment and we did some shopping. In the late afternoon, I went to Peabody.
We send sympathy and prayers to the family of Rubena Jost. She was such a dear lady.
Hope you all have a good week! Where did April go? We sure need some sunshine.
